Dear student,
We don’t like writing you this email. We too hoped that the lockdown would end next week, and that we would see each other again in the dance school and share each other’s energy. But unfortunately, we have to persevere a little bit more.
It may seem as if the corona measures are taking forever, but the end is in sight. Let’s sustain, especially now that we started the new year with fresh energy, and be creative in these circumstances!
In the winter you stay at home even more and, after sitting behind your desk the whole day, you just want to slide on to your couch. But then it feels even better to start moving, and connect with your body and with other dancers.
The empty studio where we record the online classes gets warmer when we read your comments on the YouTube livestream and when we see you dancing with us on Zoom. Especially now, we will use the help of Zoom during the classes even more, so you can uplift each other too. Are you joining the class? Put on Zoom on your phone as well and wave to us and to the others, as you would do when you’re at the dance school. Zo gezellig!
January
When January started, we still assumed that the lockdown would take only the first half of the month. That is why we charged the regular fee. Now that it will take longer, we want to offer you the possibility to get compensated for the costs you made this month. There are two options:
1: We will reimburse you up to € 50. That is what you would pay for a full month of online classes.
2: If you want to offer the dance school some extra support, you can let us keep the tuition fee for January.
February
Because of the current extension of the lockdown, we can only offer online classes at least until February 9th. These are your options for February:
1: In February, you pay € 50, the tuition fee for one month of online classes.
2: Do you want to offer the dance school some extra support? Then you can also choose to keep paying your current subscription.
3: Are you not able to pay your subscription? Then you can also put it on hold so we won’t charge you a tuition fee for February. You won’t be able to follow the classes.
Because these are a lot of options, please let us know your decision in an email, to avoid misunderstandings. Send us a message with your personal data and the options that work for you before Sunday, January 17th to info@poetic-motion.nl, and we will make it work.
The past months haven’t been easy for us as dance school owners and we are extremely happy and grateful for your support. Thanks to your support and flexibility, our dance school can survive and we can make it through this lockdown as well. Let’s dance and forget the world around us for a moment!
